Fisher Associates has immediate openings for CAD Technicians in our Rochester and Buffalo offices. The successful candidate(s) will be joining a growing team of surveyors completing work across a diverse spectrum of projects for both public and private clients as well as supporting our three sectors of Transportation, Energy and Land Development. Responsibilities will include all aspects of mapping from processing of survey data to final mapping production in both Microstation and Autocad platforms. Some field work assisting field surveyors may be involved. Attention to detail and adherence to company mapping standards are a must.
The successful candidate(s) must possess strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to present information in technical and non-technical terms.
Associates Degree Preferred or High School curriculum equivalent with survey CAD experience is a must. Survey field experience as well as post-secondary education will also be considered. Candidates may be required to demonstrate skills prior to hire. If you are a highly skilled technical CAD person wishing to work within a team of surveying professionals.

The Survey Project Manager will be responsible for managing survey projects for all sectors. Client base is diverse and includes energy sector, transportation, land development, municipal agencies and the private sector. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with knowledge of all aspects of surveying including assisting with and coordinating field work, performing survey calculations, preparing mapping and assembling cost proposals for clients.
