With more than 30 years of experience conducting federal and state environmental reviews pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), our team of planners and environmental scientists understand the procedural and substantive compliance intricacies of effective impact analysis and have completed hundreds of environmental assessments and environmental impact statements on behalf of public and private sector clients throughout the northeastern United States. Our projects have ranged from public sector investments in educational/healthcare institutions and transportation infrastructure to private sector investments focused on commercial development and energy infrastructure. We also specialize in preparation of generic environmental impact statements for municipal planning studies such as comprehensive plans and zoning amendments and rewrites. Within the energy sector, our services also extend to federal and state licensing projects and involve filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) pursuant to Section 7 of the Natural Gas Act and the New York State Public Service Commission (NYSPSC) pursuant to Article VII and Article 10 of the New York State Public Service Law. Our multidisciplinary team also includes experts who conduct specialized studies to support defensible impact reviews with the goal of gaining required government approvals and facilitating project construction.
