The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) is proposing to reissue the Erosion and Sediment Control General Permit for Earth Disturbance Associated with Oil and Gas Exploration, Production, Processing, or Treatment Operations or Transmission Facilities (ESCGP-4). This reissuance comes under the authority of the Clean Streams Law and is intended to replace the current ESCGP-3, which is set to expire at midnight on January 6, 2025.
