Bill is a communicator and facilitator of designs of all scales for both public and private clients. Educated as a geographer and a landscape architect, his design work strongly reflects human and environmental context; intentionally designed to create outdoor spaces that encourage strong relationships between people and their landscapes. Bill has combined the complexity of urban spaces with pedestrian and ecological priorities in projects at a variety of scales. His expertise includes project sustainability, bicycle and pedestrian facilities design, trail design, streetscapes, learning landscapes, playgrounds, native plant design, landscape restoration, and creating an identity of a place.
