ABCD Bridge Award Winner

Fisher Associates is thrilled to congratulate the City of Hornell for receiving the Western New York Association for Bridge Construction and Design (ABCD) Award for the Canisteo Street over Crosby Creek Bridge Replacement Project. Fisher Associates is proud to have been a partner to the City of Hornell on this significant community-valued project.
This project demonstrates award-winning engineering solutions by overcoming project design challenges that included providing continuous flood protection along Crosby Creek, reconfiguring driveway access to six properties from the increase in road profile, coordinating utility relocations both prior to and during construction, and designing a structure that maintained the floodway, improved freeboard, and minimized the potential for catching debris during high-water events.
We are thankful to the City of Hornell for allowing Fisher Associates to contribute our expertise to this award-winning project.
