Major Wins for Fisher’s Transportation Group

Fisher’s Transportation Group is excited to announce three major project wins! The first is a 2-year, $4M Term Agreement for Construction Inspection by the New York State Department of Transportation. This contract is the largest single contract award in Fisher’s 35-year history and involves inspection of highway and bridge projects in Region 2 encompassing Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Madison, Montgomery and Oneida Counties.
Fisher is also excited to be working with the City of Rochester on East Main Street Bridge over CSX Trans/Amtrak. This is our first bridge project with the City and our bridge group will be designing preventive maintenance repairs for this structure.
Fisher is thrilled to be continuing our partnership with the City of Cortland on their Main Street Improvement Project that began with the Main Street One-Way to Two-Way Conversion Study. We will provide the design for the improvements to implement this conversion, as well as for a pocket park on Main Street and a City Artworks Public Arts Installation. Fisher is excited to team with the City and help them achieve their goal of transforming their downtown into a thriving economic and cultural center for Cortland County. This project is funded through the Governor’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
