The proposed Project involves construction of a new 345 kV to 115 kV station located in Cattaraugus County, New York. Fisher's prepared the environmental and other supporting exhibits for Article VII application. Visual rendering were required of the new substation and the surrounding transmission line structures.
This project involved the replacement
of 16" gas transmission line extending approximately three miles in the Town
of Elma, New York. Responsibilities included New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers environmental permitting, wetlands and stream delineations, construction survey and stakeout, SEQRA compliance, agency coordination and consultations and environmental monitoring during construction.
An environmental screening and an inventory and condition survey were conducted to analyze the condition and estimated remaining life of 450 drainage structures along 15 miles of NYS Thruway (I-90). Working with NYSTA rehabilitation and replacement designs were developed that provided mitigation areas for negatively impacted wetlands and surface water bodies, a delineation report was provided and joint USACE and NYSDEC wetland permit applications were prepared.
