Fisher Associates helped develop the Downtown Buffalo Infrastructure and Public Realm Master Plan for the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation. The plan established a comprehensive framework for streetscape and public space improvements throughout downtown Buffalo, along with a strategic path for implementation. Fisher supported the inventory and assessment of existing transportation infrastructure and public spaces, coordinated stakeholder outreach and public engagement efforts, and led the multi-modal mobility analysis for the study. The team also helped identify priority precincts for future investment and developed implementation strategies that support sustainable development, strengthen downtown connectivity, and enhance the overall function, appeal, and marketability of the urban core.
