DePaul Properties transformed the former Dewitt Clinton Elementary School site into a vibrant, affordable residential community in Rome, NY. The project includes 80 housing units across apartment and townhome configurations, revitalizing a long-vacant property to better serve local housing needs. Fisher provided comprehensive engineering services, including site layout, utility design, stormwater management, and permitting coordination. The design incorporated private roadways, parking areas, sidewalks, and pedestrian lighting to create a safe and accessible environment. A key feature of the project is its sustainable approach, utilizing innovative green infrastructure such as underground stormwater storage, bioretention areas, and water quality treatment systems to reduce runoff and support environmental stewardship.
