Fisher Associates supported the development of the Headwaters Wind Farm, a two-phase renewable energy project spanning the Indiana/Ohio border. Headwaters I included 100 Vestas V110 turbines and was delivered on an accelerated schedule to meet Production Tax Credit requirements and power purchase agreement deadlines. The project required a highly adaptable design approach, with multiple layouts and collection systems developed in parallel as land agreements progressed. Headwaters II expanded the project with 30 additional turbines and continued the fast-paced delivery. Fisher provided permitting, stormwater design, and transportation planning, including route analysis and bridge and culvert evaluations for turbine delivery. Ongoing construction support ensured compliance and efficient project execution.
