Fisher Associates supported National Grid as the Licensing and Permitting Consultant for the development of a new electric substation in the Town of Harmony. The project included tapping the existing Dunkirk–Falconer 115kV transmission line and required an Article VII application to amend the Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need. Fisher led environmental review and permitting efforts, including preparation of the Environmental Management and Construction Plan and coordination of regulatory approvals. Services also included environmental studies, site analysis, stormwater permitting, and development of grading, drainage, and erosion control plans. Through comprehensive planning and agency coordination, Fisher helped advance critical energy infrastructure while ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
