Fisher Associates supported the development of natural gas infrastructure in the Williamsport Area, contributing to the installation of 31 miles of pipeline through the challenging terrain of the Tiadaghton State Forest. The system was designed to gather Marcellus Shale gas from multiple well sites and convey it through compressor stations and a metering and regulation station to a transmission line. Fisher’s Geomatics team prepared detailed construction drawings, established pipeline centerlines for installation, and documented final as-built conditions. Concurrently, the Environmental team conducted field inspections to ensure compliance with strict regulatory requirements. Through coordinated technical services, Fisher helped deliver a safe, efficient pipeline system while maintaining environmental stewardship in a sensitive and rugged landscape.
