Fisher Associates provides comprehensive geomatics services supporting hydroelectric dam infrastructure across New York State, partnering with the New York Power Authority under multiple multi-year contracts. Our work includes monitoring structural movement of concrete walls, earthen dikes, and levees, as well as performing bathymetric mapping and underwater inspections using advanced technologies such as ROVs. We establish precise horizontal and vertical control networks to support large-scale inspections and long-term monitoring programs. These efforts span a wide range of environments—from confined, complex facilities like the Robert Moses Power Plant to expansive systems including miles of embankments and submerged conduits. By delivering accurate, reliable data, Fisher helps ensure the safety, performance, and longevity of critical energy infrastructure.
