As Cornell University expanded residential capacity, its surrounding landscapes struggled to support pedestrian connectivity, social interaction, and environmental performance. Fisher Associates helped solve these challenges by developing a holistic design framework, aligning circulation, open spaces, and campus identity. By balancing formal gathering areas with ecological green spaces, the project fostered both community cohesion and student well-being. The resulting landscape provided intuitive pathways, encouraged social interaction, and integrated sustainable features, reinforcing the campus as a vibrant, connected, and environmentally conscious community.
