Expanded Scope: Includes hydraulic analysis, roadway reconstruction, landslide repair, and embankment stabilization

Under this District 12 PennDOT Open End Agreement, Fisher Associates provided comprehensive design and support services for the replacement of two structurally deficient bridges in Washington County. The work included preliminary and final bridge design, roadway design, traffic control, hydraulics, survey, environmental permitting, and construction services.

Located along SR 4022 over Branch of Buffalo Creek and SR 1016 over Branch of Mingo Creek, both projects address aging one-lane structures that no longer meet roadway needs. Fisher’s approach also includes detailed hydraulic modeling to confirm adequate waterway openings and minimize impacts to the 100-year flood elevation. In addition to replacing the structures, the project includes roadway reconstruction, embankment stabilization, and landslide repair to improve long-term safety and resilience.
