To improve connectivity between Downtown Penn Yan and the Keuka Outlet Trail, Fisher Associates designed and implemented critical pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure upgrades. The project replaced two deteriorated crossings with modern prefabricated steel pedestrian bridges and extended trail connections to integrate with the existing sidewalk network. ADA-compliant walkways, new sidewalks, and enhanced crossings improved accessibility and safety for users. By restoring key linkages and strengthening trail access, the project supports tourism, recreation, and local mobility while enhancing the overall trail experience.
