Fisher Associates provided site design and construction support for the Ripples of Change Sculpture, a landmark public art installation honoring four influential women in the birthplace of the women’s rights movement. Working closely with the client and artist, Fisher developed a landscape that reinforces the sculpture’s message through thoughtful design elements. Concentric rings of exposed aggregate pavement symbolize the ripple effect of social change, while limestone boulders offer seating and frame views toward Van Cleef Lake. Native plantings enhance the setting and create a cohesive visual experience. Fisher also coordinated construction and installation, helping deliver a meaningful civic space in time for the 2020 Women’s Suffrage Centennial.
