Fisher Associates is supporting Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) on the Rochester Area Reliability Project, a major initiative to strengthen the region’s electrical transmission system. The project includes reconstruction of approximately 27.6 miles of 345-kV and 115-kV transmission lines and upgrades to three substations to improve reliability and meet growing energy demand. Fisher is providing construction survey services to support implementation in accordance with the project’s Environmental Management and Construction Plan. Survey efforts include staking right-of-way limits, access roads, structure locations, and work areas, as well as identifying environmentally sensitive features such as wetlands and streams. Through precise field support and coordination, Fisher is helping advance critical infrastructure improvements across the Greater Rochester Region.
