Fisher Associates supported St. John Fisher University’s Lavery Library renovation by designing landscape improvements that reinforce the library’s role as an academic and social hub at the heart of campus.
The project focused on strengthening the physical and experiential connection between the Center for Student Success and surrounding campus spaces, creating a welcoming sequence of outdoor areas that encourage gathering, collaboration, and reflection.
Enhanced circulation, improved accessibility, and thoughtfully integrated seating and plantings extend the energy of the renovated library beyond its walls.
Together with the setting for the Immigrant Parent Sacrifice sculpture, these improvements contribute to a cohesive campus environment that celebrates learning, community, and shared values while supporting the evolving needs of students and faculty.
