Fisher Associates led the revitalization of SUNY Brockport’s 75-acre north campus core, transforming aging infrastructure into a cohesive and welcoming landscape. Originally focused on subsurface utility upgrades, the project evolved into a comprehensive master plan emphasizing accessibility, connectivity, and campus identity. The redesign removed a 12-foot-high perimeter wall, opening views and creating a more inviting campus environment. Improvements included new pedestrian corridors, ADA-accessible routes, and reconfigured circulation patterns that reversed vehicular and pedestrian flows to enhance safety and first impressions. By integrating landscape architecture with infrastructure upgrades, Fisher helped create a vibrant, connected campus that strengthens ties to the Erie Canal and surrounding community.
