Fisher Associates led the multi-phase revitalization of SUNY Cobleskill’s 10-acre campus core, transforming key outdoor spaces to enhance connectivity, accessibility, and campus identity. The project included reconstruction of green spaces, plazas, walkways, and utilities, organized around a central pedestrian spine designed to encourage interaction and movement throughout campus. New gathering areas and a commemorative plaza honoring members of the armed forces create meaningful destinations, while a reconstructed pedestrian bridge enhances the campus entrance. Durable materials such as granite and bluestone were incorporated to ensure long-term performance and reduced maintenance. Continuous ADA-accessible routes and energy-efficient lighting further support a safe, inclusive, and sustainable campus environment.
