Konar enlisted Fisher to provide civil/site engineering services for this multi-phase project. Phase 1 consisted of the preparation of the site, utility, and grading plans for a new +/- 36,000 square foot office/warehouse building and associated parking lots, sidewalks, and site amenities. Phase 2 consisted of preparation of the site, utility, and grading plans for a +/- 11,000 square foot addition to the Phase 1 building and an expansion to one of the Phase 1 parking lots.
The project required compliance with NYSDEC stormwater requirements for construction activities which brought about the design of the bioretention area and vegetated swale. The stormwater management design also included the modification of the existing regional stormwater management extended detention facility concurrently with the modification to the existing floodplain.
For both Phase 1 and Phase 2, Fisher provided construction plans and specifications, project SWPPP, stormwater permitting support, construction administration, SWPPP inspection services, and construction administration services for the project.
