Interstate 190 – Buffalo Skyway

Project Story

The City of Buffalo is in an exciting revitalization mode and we are proud to be involved in key projects that support the City’s revitalization goals – one of which is the Buffalo Skyway Corridor Project.  As part of the data gathering efforts for the study for the potential removal of the elevated portion of the Buffalo Skyway, our survey crews performed field scans of the structures that support Interstate 190. This information will be used to assist in the evaluation of the alternatives for potential removal of the Buffalo Skyway.  This work was completed under our multi-year term agreement for survey services with the NYSDOT.  Fisher is proud of our long-standing working relationship with the NYSDOT and looks forward to continuing to assist them with their survey needs in communities across the state.
