Project Story
Our Fisher team worked on a total of 31 miles of 8”, 12”, 16” and 20” gas pipelines installed in the Williamsport Area of Pennsylvania in an area known for its extremely steep and high slopes. The pipeline gathered Marcellus Shale gas from wells within the Tiadaghton State Forest and transported it through two compressor stations and the metering & regulation (M&R) station to a transmission line. The Fisher Geomatics team created the construction drawings used to install the pipe, marked the centerline of the pipe for construction, and then captured the final position of the pipe. The Fisher Environmental team was involved in field inspections, ensuring that the strict environmental regulation standards were met throughout the course of the project.
