Project Story
Our Environmental and Civil Engineering team has provided multiple services for overhead electric power line assessment and construction for Avangrid’s New York State-based companies; namely New York State Electric and Gas Corporation and the Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation.
Our team provided environmental screening and permit tracking by preparing weekly updates to the overall Project team. Permitting support also includes the preparation of NYS Public Service Commission jurisdictional Part 102 reports, Environmental Management and Construction Plan Change Notices, federal, state and local jurisdictional wetland/waterbody permit applications, Federal Aviation Administration correspondence and permitting support, State and County Department of Transportation highway work permit applications, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) preparation.
In addition, our Stormwater Management team will complete regular field inspections to ensure regulatory permit compliance. Additional work includes site surveys and environmental regulatory support throughout the life of the project.
