Fisher Associates performed an as-built survey on a portion of the Schoellkopf Overlook Area at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center in Niagara Falls, New York. The as-built locations included all site improvements in the area that are to be removed to accommodate for a temporary construction lay down area. These locations will assist in re-establishing the site to its pre-construction condition.
Other actions performed included establishing horizontal and vertical control using RTK GPS as well as locations of all site improvements. Also performed quality control checks on existing site features to ensure that the horizontal and vertical measurements of the as-built survey matched the record site plans.
