Steve Boddecker, L.S.
Vice President, Director of GeomaticsSteve Boddecker, L.S. is Fisher Associates P.E., L.S., L.A., D.P.C.‘s Vice President and Director of Geomatics where he provides leadership and strategic direction to the Land Surveyors and GIS team. In addition to his position, he also serves as the Principal who oversees Health and Safety in the firm. With over 40 years of combined field, office, and management experience, his work has spanned all three of the company’s market sectors: Transportation, Energy and Land Development, including highway related survey and mapping; gas, wind, and electric utilities; and large-scale boundary and topographic surveys.
Steve has been with the company since 2006. Since then, he has worked on surveying projects throughout Northcentral and Western Pennsylvania, and Central and Western New York. Boddecker has worked closely to successfully develop and complete many projects ranging in scale from small lots to large-scale highway and 165-mile transmission projects. Steve’s skills and expertise have been instrumental in the diversification of the firm’s services.
Steve is a Licensed Surveyor in New York and New Jersey. Steve has held key positions in professional societies both regionally and statewide. He has served as President of the Niagara Frontier Land Surveyors Association in 1997 and 2004 and is currently serving as Treasurer. His services at the state level culminated into service as President of the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors from 2012 to 2013. He currently serves on the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyor’ Finance, Nominations and Legislative Committees and as Chairman of the Political Action Committee.
